normally 1 at the front 6 at the bulkhead

Thanks. Last time I did anything cylinder related was on a 1990 mini Laughing and they were numbered something like 1,3,4,2 Confused

Cheers Roofer. Had it on a diag earlier and it threw up a misfire on no5. So looks like a coil then! Anyone know how the cylinders are numbered?

Well I had to fit new viscous fan coupling so why I was there I renewed the coolant again. Filled slowly with the ignition on, heater on 32 degrees and the bleed screw removed so the air has somewhere ...

It sounds like an airlock is moving around the system. I've just got rid of mine just a few hours ago funny enough. Exactly the same symtoms.

Parents had this their 323....turned out that one of the two horns were disconnected. Sounded like Crusty the clowns car with only one Laughing

Oh and their horns were in the bumper iron....

Based on a 328 IIRC

Am I right in thinking that the E46 Alpina B3 uses the same air filter and spark plugs as the 330 that its based upon?

Which wheels are you going for?!

Not for me...sold my 540 and have the AC Schnitzer type 2's for sale. Had an enquiry if they would fit straight on an M5.

Yes but you may need to run 265's on the rear, not the M5's 275's or have the rear arches rolled and liners replaced. Smile

Am I right in thinking that the E39 M5 runs the same offsets/hub sizes etc as the rest of the 5 series range in that all wheels will fit straight on??

Well after selling the 540 I've decided on getting a B3.
Haven't decided yet if I'm gonna get the E36 3.2 or the E46 3.3, but what I was after knowing was the bhp/torque of the E36 model.
