I'm a firm believer in leaving the compressor running all the time as the refrigerant helps to stop the seals going brittle. If it was regassed that recently though I suspect you may have a leak.

Unless they have wrapped the door shuts, boot and engine compartment too- it wouldn't be hard to spot the clingfilm
